Today I asked google about the number one Best Movie Battle Scenes of All Time. It told me Paths of Glory (1957) and Apocalypse Now (1979). I felt like calling google ‘liar liar, pants on fire”. For some of us, the moment you step outside of your doors, you’ve stepped on a battlefield. There is a war raging in homes, your head, your workplace, at church, everywhere.
Round One: Understand that the devil uses people and situations to rage war against you. Like any boxer who enters the middle of the ring with hands held high to guard the face, face your battles with feet anchored in Christ the solid rock, and hands clasped. Ding Ding – stand like a brave with your face to your foe.
Round Two: See your enemy for what and who they are. No Christian can afford to be ignorant of the threatening schemes of spiritual combat. Find yourself encircled by the Holy Spirit so when your enemies come up against you- Ding Ding- they stumble and fall.
Round Three: No weapon formed against you shall prosper. So when the battles seem fierce and you’re weakening, stand still, Michael, your coach is about to stand up and call "time out"...and when Michael stands up…Ding Ding – Knocked Out! Game Over!
Yolanda Adams said it best, “There is no pain, Jesus can't feel There is no hurt, that He can't heal For all things work according to the masters purpose and His holy will. No matter what you are going thru, remember that God only wants a chance to use you; for the battle is not yours its the Lord's."
